ABOUT ME
Who am I? There’s so many things I could tell you about me. I grew up a Southern girl deep in the heart of Texas, ventured to Chicago for college, ended up on the West coast in sunny California for 15 years, and now find myself in the small Midwestern state of Iowa. I am a wife, a mother of four, and have a love of writing, sports, and fitness. I’ve traveled a lot, had many adventures, and experienced the unimaginable. But the most important thing I could tell you is I am a daughter of the King. I am a child of God. And so are YOU.
You see, it’s not so much who am I? But, who is HE? I’ve struggled my whole life with my identity, having every insecurity in the book. Writing about it and stepping into this assignment is likely the most difficult thing I’ve ever done. But, it’s a step of faith in the mighty God I serve. In Matthew 17:20-21 Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” On my own, there’s not much I could tell you. But with God, all things are possible. I trust in that. I trust in Him.
I want to share my journey with you because I believe that’s what He has called me to. I believe that is what He has called us all to do. I pray that as you journey with me, you will find Him. I pray you will step into your God sized calling and watch Him make the impossible possible. I pray you will find an abundance of grace and your true identity in Him.
